Pig-Out Fest

After the parade, a Pig-Out Fest is planned at Eagle Lake, 3404 E Reno, serving tasty BBQ, and a carnival atmosphere with vendors, game booths, fundraiser booths from civic and church organizations, pig-related contests, and local entertainment.

OFFERS HELP TO FAMILIES

(MIDWEST CITY) --- Help is available in the Mid-Del and the surrounding areas for families in need of counseling services. "Many people come in because they are feeling the effects of stress related to home or work and they need someone to talk to," said Micah Woodard, Executive Director. He also stated that prevention is the key to success. If a person seeks help when they begin feeling the symptoms of stress, counseling is often helpful in finding some swift solutions to get back on track.

In addition to counseling services, Mid-Del also offers classes such as Anger Management and Parenting. The Agency accepts Medicaid clients as well as some types of insurance, however they do not refuse services to anyone who cannot pay.
